Tano läuft auf Linux und Windows, andere Betriebssysteme werden zurzeit nicht unterstützt.
Erweiterte Informationen und Steuerelemente Panel Info Panel bietet Playlist mit Kategorie filtern und suchen. Auf der Registerkarte andere ist EPG-Informationen für vier Tage im voraus.
"Steuerungen" Haupt-Bedienelemente für die Wiedergabe, Volume-Management bietet und Möglichkeit für nicht-live-Medien zu suchen. Hauptmerkmal ist Info-Balken mit Infos aktuelle und nächste anzeigen. Klick auf den Link öffnet sich ein Fenster mit weiteren Informationen über aktuelle Show. "Steuerungen" fungiert auch als OSD im Vollbildmodus.
